Allison Kimberly Einhorn, who works in the Criminal Law Division, Office of the Judge Advocate General of the Navy, played winger in the Army-Navy Hockey game Dec. 5 hosted by the Washington Capitals at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. Einhorn, a native of Chicago, Ill., served in the Navy for seven years. She currently is one of two civilian government information specialists serving as the release authority for court-martial records of trial. Einhorn started playing competitive ice hockey at a young age and continued playing as a forward, left wing throughout college. "I have always loved playing ice hockey -- it's fast and exciting," said Einhorn. "I feel honored to have been selected for the Army-Navy hockey game. It was one of the best experiences and it was so much fun. "Although the Army won 5-3, there was some big-time skating," said U. S. Marine Corps Col. The Army-Navy hockey game followed the Capitals vs. Sabres hockey game and featured local military hockey players from all five branches of service. "Being out on the ice with members from all branches and of course playing at the Verizon Center was something really special," said Einhorn. "We even got to meet Capitals player, T.J. Oshie."
