Yokosuka Holiday Benefit Concert Assisted Local Residents in Need

In December, members of the Yokosuka JAG community -- through their participation in the Japanese Community Legal Association (JCLA) -- continued an annual holiday tradition of supporting Kaifu Gakuen, an assisted living facility and school for disabled Japanese adults in the Yokosuka area. Funds raised by a benefit concert during a Dec. 9 holiday party hosted by Kaifu Gakuen, which featured the talented members of the local legal community, were provided to the school for their residents. The JCLA is a non-Federal entity that for more than 40 years has been dedicated to fostering relationships between the U.S. Navy legal community and the local Japanese legal, law enforcement, and military communities.
